The 6th DMP General Assembly has approved the set of Phase I Technical Specifications and References (Approved Documents) designed to support the implementation of Value Chain centred around Portable Audio and Video Devices, i.e. Devices without network access:

DMP has begun work on two additional Approved Documents:

	Approved Document No. 8 – Recommended Practice: End-to-End Conformance

DMP is currently working on extending the Technical Specifications and References to enable the implementation of Value Chains centred around Stationary Audio and Video Devices, i.e. Devices with network access. The drafts are currently being reviewed by the DMP membership. The final Technical Specifications and Referenced are planned to be approved by the 8th DMP General Assembly in October 2005.

Further, DMP has issued a Call for Contributions on "Mapping of Traditional Rights and Usages to the digital space" with the intention of producing the following Approved Document
