The 10th General Assembly (GA10) of the Digital Media Project will be held on 2006/04/26-28 at

Travel information

The following airports may be used

  1. Geneva Airport – 45 minutes by car, or 50 minutes by train
  2. Zurich Airport – 2 hours by car, or 2h30 by train

Lausanne is a rather small city with good transportation facilities. It is recommended that you select an accommodation in the center of Lausanne or in the Ouchy area (by the Lake). EPFL can be reached easily from Center of Lausanne and from Ouchy either by Taxi (20 minutes ride, 25 CHF) or by Metro.

Visa information

No visas are needed for the citizens of the following countries: countries of the American Continent (except Belize, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Peru), Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

If you are not from one of the above countries, please check the following url and contact the Swiss Consulate General located nearest you.

For some nationalities an invitation letter is required for entry visa to Switzerland. Such a letter can be provided upon request.
